WHAT DOES SPECIAL DENTAL CARE DO?
Special Dental Care fills a void and bridges the gap in today’s dental care and sedation dentistry in Los Angeles by providing anesthesia in conjunction with quality dental treatment services to effectively and efficiently treat patients suffering from a lack of dental care due to an inability to cooperate for dental treatment as a result of pain, fear, anxiety, developmental disability, and mental incapacities in a comfortable office-based setting.
WHY CHOOSE SPECIAL DENTAL CARE?
Two Reasons
First: WE CARE. We truly do have the patient’s best interest at heart. Special Dental Care staffs are personally affected with family members whom has developmental disabilities and had problems finding qualified dentists who are willing and able to safely and effectively provide quality dental care to special patient populations in a timely manner. Thus, Special Dental Care was formed.
Second: WE ARE HIGHLY QUALIFIED. Our doctors are all Board Certified doctors in Dental Surgery. Additionally, our doctors are graduates from Loma Linda University’s highly decorated Dental Anesthesiology program, a two-year post doctorate degree. Only 11 of the best Board Certified D.D.S. are selected to this coveted program amongst 5 universities each year within the United States. The anesthesiology training consisted of medical rotations in cardiology, internal medicine, and anesthesiology at Loma Linda University Medical Center and Riverside County Regional Medical Center.
Our doctors also received further specialized training at the Special Care Dentistry Clinic at the Loma Linda School of Dentistry, which manages a flow of nearly 5,000 patients annually that comprises pediatric and adult special needs patients.
